Probably my favorite pop/folk LP of this start of year, Close To The Glass is German band The Notwist' 6th LP.
Out now on Berlin-based label City Slang, it blends melancholic acoustic melodies to stronger pop anthems, all framed in poetic orchestrations. A cohesive album ticking all my indie boxes!

Sans aucun doute l'une de mes productions indie/folk favorite de ce début d'année, le sixième album du groupe allemand The Notwist allie avec beaucoup de délicatesse les passages acoustiques mélancoliques aux titres euphorisants franchement indie/rock. Orchestration recherchée, mélodies superbes, ce Close To The Glass est une pépite à découvrir d'urgence.
